Freshwater Dips for Leathers?

Anyone know if it's ok to freshwater dip leather corals, in the same way that you would a new fish? My lfs has a couple of nice things, but they share water with some ick-ridden fish.

Txs,

Dan

It can be risky and a crapshoot from what I have heard....but some have done it with no ill effects
