Question Creature in my salt water Tank!

Hi I am wondering what little creatures I have growing in my tank. I thought it was a type of Sea Slugs. THey are whitish with two long red feelers on top of their head towards the front and tiny two black eyes and lots of whitest carpet like feet with some soft spines on top of their bodies. Their mouth reminds me of a pink tube. The biggest one which is the size of a quarter now was spitting out a white substance sitting on top of a power head. It looked like milk that he was spitting out. What is this creature and is he bad for the tank? It has two young ones now that I can find. They are mostly whitest with tiny bit of muted pink maybe and some pale purple on them.

I think he is responsible for eating a bunch of my worms that have little fan like tips on one live rock. The worm type fans are growing back on their live rock.

What was that stuff he was spitting out ? I have lots of things growing in my tank the most exciting so far are the blue fan and the white and pink tip fan and I have these little tiny white star like soft creatures all bunched together that are growing very well. I think they may be a soft coral but I am unsure.... They are sure getting very beautiful as time goes by.

It would be impossible for us to confirm your identification without a picture.

Most likely it's an attempt at reproduction.

Have you observed this creature eating your feather dusters? If you did, it is an interesting observation and you should try taking pictures of it. If it is some type of sea slug or Nudibranch it could help in identification to know what it is preying upon.
I'll give you a link to a site dedicated to sea slugs, perhaps you can browse it and find a match for your critter there...Good luck!

Cool Thanks for the link!

I wish I thought to get a picture when it was on top of the power head. Would have showen up great....Damn I blew it. Defintely it is a sea slug or a nudibranch it looks a lot like what I was researching from the link you gave me but I not found the kind it is. There are three of them and *Damn* I hope they dont wipe out all the cute stuff growing in my tank. The digital cam I got hates taking pictures of the tank but I try and get a picture to post of my little salt water tank.

I have three brittle stars now they where all in the brittle worm trap, eating food I had put in it... I didnt want to hurt them so I just opened one up the trap and set it back down waiting for them to come out.
