Pairing Yellow Watchman gobies

I've had a watchman goby a couple months ago but was lost due to a very bad infection.

I am interested in adding a pair of these guys to my 80 gallon reef. I hear they are very interesting as a pair and very fun to watch.

I would like to ask if any of your guys have a pair and if so how they have fared.

Also, is there a way to just get any two yellow watchmans and then just have them pair up?

Take a look at this photo I found while looking through a seahorse page:

I love these guys!!

Regards,
Ilham

Hi Elmo,
Cute pix ofthe gobies. I have 2 yellow watchmans too in a 20 gal. reef. They are fun to watch, a little timmid.
I went to the LFS and asked your question awhile ago. I was told the brown watchman's are boys and the yellow's are the girls'.
Its a good store, however I'm not sure if this is accurate....

Smile Two Yellow Gobies

This is quite intresting but today i found a surpise and not sure if it will help you to much or if it will that's wonderfull also....I had brought a yellow watchman goby the other day and when i put him in the tank and went to get food for my lionfish he was gone, not knowing that they run and hide all of a sudden i had thought my Lionfish had ate him for breakfast very heart broken about this i caught my lionfish and took it to my LFS to exchange out for yellow watchman goby along with a twin spot goby. Well i came home and relaeased the other yellow goby and floated around and so farth. Then today when i was feeding i found the orginal yellow goby along with the other yellow goby co-living in the same borrow... so i was exetremly excited about this...still a little heart broke that i had gave my lion fish away but i think its for the better.....
