starting 90g

Well, after about a year of being away from the hobby, I have decided to start a tank. This hobby is just too fun to be missing out on. So let me run a list by you guys and see if you can make any suggestions.

AGA 90g megaflow
30g berlin sump
mag 7 return
asm skimmer
2 250w halide setup
tunze stream 6000 and 2 maxi jets for flow

This setup will be mainly sps. The only thing that I'm afraid of is that the return pump is too small, but I don't want to get one that the overflow won't be able to handle. So if anyone has any tips, they are welcome.

Thanks,
Ilia

Hi Ilia,

I have this same tank. I have a Mag 9 return and it works just fine at a 5ft head.

I have a mag 9 on my 75g w/ megaflow. I think you'd be fine with either the mag 7 or 9.

Hi Ilia.

I use a Mag7 on a 26 gallon cube.

I would suggest going higher and using a Mag9.

I also think you'd be happier using a mag 9. I am using a little giant 3 on my 80 and am happy with that!!
