Question Home made Fish & Coral food ( review )

Ok everyone I have been in this game for a while and just recently started making my own fish/coral food (two different foods). So far everything is loving the feeding times in my tank. Just want to see what other people think about my mixes. VTEC SI is a good friend of mine in this hobby that I gave a sample of both foods to and he said that his tank just opened up in joy. But I some imput on what I am missing I have all the basics covered but looking for that main thing that will make my fish jump out the tank because they are so happy (Know what I mean) So here is what I got.

Fish Food

3 cubes of Brine Shrimp
3 cubes of Marine Cuisine
3 cubes of Emerald Entree
1 cube of Squid
4-5 pieces of diced Krill
8 drops of Garlic Extreme
1/4 teaspoon Ginger powder
diced Scallops

Mix all together in a small container and Freeze until use....

Coral Food

1/2 teaspoon of Oyster Eggs
4 oz of Phytoplankton
4oz of Rotersers
1 oz of Zooplez
1 oz of Cyclop-eeze

Mix well and keep cold, shake well before feeding

Hmm...for fish food I normally just get frozen items from the market, i.e. bay scallops, raw unpeeled tiger shrimp, squid, etc.

Part of it I blend, but usually I dont. When time for feeding I just dice one up finely and feed.

Your menu looks pretty good.

I don't feed my corals, I leave that to the tank itself, but i do use a recipe that Kevin gave me about a year ago.
1. 20 cubes of frozen formula one
2. 1/4 pkg of red-brown seaweed selects. (maybe some dried nori)
3. 1/4 cup freeze dried plankton
4. 3-4 frozen raw shrimp
5. 1 tbsp. crushed garlic

Meateaters love this stuff and the garlic makes it smell good.

Thx. I am going to give it a try. It's alot easier than trying to remember what I feed them last. This way I know they are always getting a good mix.

Well I made a feeding chart that I follow on a daily bases I have an alarm on my computer that goes off and lets me know what to feed and when. The fish food that I made I use a little 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon and fill it up when its time to feed. And as far as the coral food I have a baby eye dropper that I made a line on and use that so I feed the same every time. You should try it rather than playing it by ear or eye in this case......
