Should I cure 2 lbs of rock rubble for refugium?
I just bought 2 lbs of dry rock rubble for my refugium. Will 2lbs of rock start a cycle in my refugium? My refugium is 20 gallons and my main tank is 125 gallons. I have two garbage cans of water in my basement. One has salt the other doesn't. Would I be better off dropping it in my garbage can in my basement for a while? What will that do with my water change garbage can?

If it is DRY no curing required.
Even if it was wet I don't think 2 lbs would be enough to cause another mini spike... |
