Ok, trying to plan a 210 gallon tank but might have to move it (within the same house). If you set up the tank and drain the water for say 30 minutes. Does that affect the tank that much or should I be able to work with that?

Im a little confused is the tank already setup with livestock and cycled?Does that affect the tank that much or should I be able to work with that?
Is the water that your draining going back in it? or atleast some of the water, if so how much percentage?
Does your tank have a DSB (deep sand bed)? Where you planning on moving your SB to or keep the SB in the tank and try and not disturb it during its transit time, which will be the tricky part if you do have a DSB. If its a BB (bare bottom) tank then it would be much easier IMO. If it has cycled already then a short transition should not hurt it at all, actually could work for it like a big water change as long as nothing gets beat up.

sorry. I am planning to put a 210 tank in. Planning a dsb for it. I am just asking if I drain the water to move the tank from one location in the same house to another would that be too bad if I collect the same water in buckets, move the tank (within and hour I would think) would it cause that much of a problem in the cycling process? Should I wait till it is cycled? I've got a 72 gallon established with ok water parameters.
