new thinking fish list
ok i had a change with my aproach. wanted to put some schooling fish in. for a 110gal 6 foot long tank this is what i am thinking. will place each group in about 2 months apart. tank will be running about 9 months before adding fish.
Group #1 1-green clown goby (gobioudon atrangulatrus) 1-yellow clown goby (gobioudon okiwawee) 4-lubbock’s fairy wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lubbocki) "hope to school" Group#2 4-green chromis (chromis viridi) "hope to school" 1-false percula clown (amphiprion ocellaris) 1-orcid dottyback (fridmani pseudochromis) Group#3 1-flameback angel brazilian (centopyge aurantonus) 1-blue hippon tang (paracanthurus hepatus) 1-yellow tang (zebrasoma flavescens) any suggestions or will this work??? |

Prow,
I like this list. For schooling fish -- have you looked at either PJ cardinals or banggai cardinals? They always school and they won't get aggressive as they age like chromis. Also -- with your wrasses I would get either 3 or 5 (an odd number) in order to make sure that only one will become the super male and the rest will be his harem. Also -- why not a pair of clowns?? They are so cool when you pair them up. If it were MY tank -- I would replace the chromis (I've never been big on them -- tooo much like damsels) with anthias. You have MORE than enough room to keep a trio of anthias. Rebecca |
