Well the colony that I purchased that was on the 4X6 concrete slab didn't make it which is very sad because it really was beautiful up close. I don't know what went wrong but within 2 days all but small pieces of tissue has disappeared. I removed the colony to a quarantine tank but I know it's a gonner. I consider it a wild colony since it was cultured in the ocean. I sat in front of my system last night and watched the last acro crab climb down and go in search of a new home. It took a total of 2 hours searching before he finally settled on my ORA tricolor....which I think is odd since it already has another crab on the colony. He slowly checked out atleast 7 different colonies like someone would when thinking of purchasing a car or something. First he'd make the journey around the entire base then on a few he even climbed in them only to climb back down a few minutes later. Once he got to the base of my tricolor he quickly climbed up and settled in the nook of a branch and is still there this morning. It was sad watching it but interesting also. Just thought I'd share.
