Angry Cyano again!!!!

Ok im getting sick of this stuff. It seems like I get cyanobacteria every month. i go to the LFS get some chemi-clean put it in there. then i have to run a powerhead with an airhose on it because i cant turn my filter or anything on. it seems the powerhead is just as bad as the cyano. any ideas on what else i should use to get rid of it? i have a yellow tang, coral beauty angel, domino damsel, yellow stripe maroon clown, and a spotted manderin, cleaner, 4 pepermint, 1 blood red, and a coral banded shrimp, some orange snails, some black turbos, and some emerald crabs in my 75G tank. Any help would be appreciated. thank you.

I would stop adding the chemical immediately and look for the source of the nutrients. Do you use filtered water of any kind? Do you have a protein skimmer? What about your water change routine? All of these can lead to excessive nutrients which is the source for cyanobacteria blooms.

How much do you feed your tank and what type of food are you using? I think you can get away with using just the RO water if everything else( water changes, nutrient export) is adquate for your system. I would also look into upgrading your protein skimmer to something better than Seaclone.

Are you using any canister filters or wet/dry?

What sort of media you have in your canister and what is maintanance schedule you have for it? As I am sure you know, canister filters require constant cleaning so they not counter productive. Also, try easing up on the cyclops, they are quite rich food that can foul your tank in the hurry if they not consumed quickly.
I had similar experience with the golden pearls, slight overfeeding and cyano started to take hold.

I agree with Scott 100% that it would be best to stop the chemichals and try to find what causing your cyano instead.
