Ok, here they come:

From the right side glass.

Full tank, from the right corner.

Full tank, from the left corner, showing the cabinet and canopy.

From the left corner.

And one more just for fun, I think this one turned out pretty nice!

Just a couple little SPS colonies that hope to grow up big and strong!

Thanks Charlie!

There is a local frag swap coming up Jan 21st, and I am going to trade out some frags for some others!

I managed to get a piece of this:

And a piece of this:

And I think one more something that I can't remember....

$30 for a 1/4" Frag at the last swap. This time it has gone up, 1/4" for $40. I am trying to get a more reasonable sized piece, without breaking the bank. I am also looking for a pink and lime green birdnest, and maybe a "pink lemonaide" but those are OUTRAGEOUS too!

Ya! I know, I could found a good portion of my tank! I did pretty good so far, with what I have sold, and what I have bought.

I may skip the Purple Monster, and get a "Purple Unknown" instead...

Here is a link to my SPS for sale thread....Just to give you an idea of what I was selling. It seems that Zoa's have really taken over popularity in my area, some Zoa's are selling for better then $50 a POLYP! WOW!

Yeah, it sure is purty looking coral, and I would put dibs on first frag but I'm afraid I may be too senile to remember about it by the time this thing grows large enough to frag it.
Tank looks great, Mike! Zoa's are sure taking over popularity and I know of some local people that want to keep nothing but zoas. Colors on some of them are unbelievable. I have hot pink zoa's that I got as an extra from some vendor(can;t remember which one), even my birdsnest isn;t that pink...

I would buy it if I had your tank (and if I kept SPS).

You like it, right? Yes, it's pricey, relatively speaking, but you've traded and swapped LOTS of stuff that's already in there, so I think you can justify spending $40 on the frag. It's a fairly exceptional piece, from the little I know about blue/purple SPS, and it's not like you plunk that down every week for a specimen. Go on... you can do it!

Thanks for the compliment Gene, I think the tank looks okay, I think it needs to be BIGGER, but that is a project for the future.

Rebecca, thanks for the permission to buy that piece! If I come across a frag (all are spoken for that were available, I may try it again.)

Gene, back to the frag, if I find one, I'll certainly frag it for you! You may need a microscope to see it though... LOL!

Re: Documenting my 90 GAllon Tank!

I have made several changes to the tank in the last 7 months too. I added an ATO from Oceanus Systems, (that I need to send out for repair) changed my sump light from a Compact flourescent flood light to 2 T5's driven by an IC 660, I changed the plumbing around on my sump, and the most significant change has been I went to T5 on the main display yesterday!

I need to take pictures of my sump and of course newly designed light rack for the display, I'll be back in a few with those images!!!! (Gotta have a teaser post every once in a while right?)

Re: Documenting my 90 GAllon Tank!

Okay, back as promised! Did anbody miss me??

Here are a few shots of the light and sump:

A shot showing all 4 bulbs and the 6" spacer that I used from the top of my canopy to the lights, the T5's are sitting about 3" off the waters surface.

A better shot of the "spacer", it is just 1/2 particle board that I painted silver, to help with moisture. (I had a can of silver paint already.)

A better picture of the bulb color, from the top Blue Plus (I think), GE 6500K, Geismann 11K, and then a true actinic. The BLUE bulb is in the front of the tank, the purple in the back.

This shows how close to the water the T5's are.

This shows another change, I now have a SCWD that drive 4 3/4" outputs, it alternates every 3-4 seconds. I am driving the SCWD with a Blueline 55 from the basement. (Another change from an Iwaki 70RLT.)

An overall shot of my sump. The fan is a recent addition, my chiller QUIT on Friday (8/10/07) and I am waiting to hear about some replacement parts. Hopefully I can fix it myself.

Top down into the sump.

My MRC MR-2 Skimmer, it has been acting weird lately. I can't get the water level to stay constant. I'll have to do some tweaking....

My GEO Kalk reactor. I have a feeling it will be complimented by a GEO Calcium Reactor this winter. I am having to supplement Ca and Alk 2 part now to keep up with demand. I use the Holmes-Farley recipe to keep the cost down.

My 57W UV, I like this piece!

This is the new plumbing, the top most bulkhead goes first to a Blueline 40HD-X then to the UV, then to the skimmer.
