The LFS has some great new fish, including several Sohal tangs. Has anyone ever had one before?

Aparently the Newport Aquarium thinks that they are. This is a big mutha...I'm guessing about 10" long. It is hard to get an accurate size when the fish in in a tank so big.

If you are thinking of getting a Sohal Tang for your 60-gal tank, I think you would be making a big mistake. Please consider the adult size of this species: http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/Spec...ciesname=sohal

They are fine for a reef...
...but as Ninong mentions they can grow large.
