i did, i was going through them before i posted.. and that is how i got my last one... but this time i was scared, as always.. cause i have trouble finding a bulb to fire right for some reason..

Well, i went to my
LFS today, the one i used to work at good knowledgable people there..
I bought a Hamilton 14K 175 w MH.. i know hamilton is not the best.. but.............

I put it in.. flipped the switch on and bam, it fired right up and on... if the color stays anywhere near what it is, i wil;l love it!

I don't think the Hamilton 14k's are that bad, but there are bulb/ballast combos that produce more PAR. I think you'll be just fine with it.

BTW, tank is looking good!

thanks.. i just didnt want to wait on a mail oreder Ushio again.. my LFS is decent enough..
And i wanted more blue, just not a 20 k..
They had the AB bulb at 13 k but i remembered having difficulty with it starting in my ballast
woke up this morning.. light was on nice and bright.. first fire..
Even my old ushio when it came on.. would start up.. get going then flick off..about 10 minutes later it would come back on.. so needless to say i am happy with this one and will have to go buy a daylight PC bulkb as this as just a tad bit too blue for me..cause i have a 50/50 pc and a blue pc
