too much flow, or current...

i know you can never have too much current, just too much velocity...
i will post a pic in a few....

but i now have 2 rio 800's. well not rio.. the other brand... forgot the name
a maxi jet 1200 on my skimmer , 1 maxi 400 and a maxi 900.. in the tank along with my mag 7 return....
in a 50 gallon tank..i will wtach my corals and stuff.. there is no sand storm.. but do you think that would be too much overall?

As long as they create a random current, where you are not blowing the skin off your corals, you should be alright.

yeah all my corals didnt look any different tonight.. so i guess i am cool...

that is a pic
on the far left you see a blurr of the maxi 900.. it is facing up and towards the center of the tank basically aimed at the center surface of the water...
directly below that is one of the Rio 800 knockoffs, rated at 500 gph with no head.. it is aiming straight to the front of the tank, but it has a big piece of rock directly in front of the pump out put..
then in the middle of the tank there is a cord going down... it goes to the bottom where the other rio 8 is.. it is aimed to the right of the tank, slightly upward.. then the first maxi 400 aimed down and to the right,, then the next maxi 4 is in the corner aimed at the front center, of the tank... and there is also the return pump aimed the same way...

wasnt prepared and i jacked it up by trying to redo my return .. wanted to use pvc as always though my measurements were a bit off.. after gluing,, so a few areas didnt line up exactly right.. so i had to pull ity all back out and put the old tubing back in and of course that pissed all creatures off..
