My palytoxin experience
Today I was fraggin some zoanthids wearing gloves and decided to be dumb and physically break a rock using my hands. When I did my left thumb slid down the jagged chunk. It cut the glove and put a small cut right above my nail. Within seconds it was like I had a hundred pennies in my mouth. I went right up and got cleaned up with peroxide, alcohol and antibacterial soap. Right now I can't taste anything and I have a slight headache..nothing too serious. My parents are both doctors and seem to think I'll be fine. I knew it'd happen eventually. Just thought I'd share.

Just did a little reading in Anthonys book and on google. It seems my experience is very similar to many others. My headache is starting to get worse though....gettin a little pound to it and my temp has gone to 99.9.
Just my luck I was gonna have a nice day on the lake followed by a bike ride. DOH.

The last time I played with any zooanthids, I ended up in bed for a whole day, trying to decide which end it was gonna come out of
. They are not nice!!!! Take it easy and let us know how you end up!! |

In some towns it's called Krystals.

Actually I am fortunate enough to NOT have a White Castle around.... But we do have, or at least had a couple of "hot and now" ugh... home of the .39 cent cheeseburger!
