Could you give us a little more info about your system, size, filtration, critters, etc. Sounds like there is an excess nutrient problem, but until we find out exactly what you've got, it's kind of tough to say anything.

Hello
We had a problem with hair algae a while ago. We bought all kind of critters to try to control it. After buying a new skimmer and adding a new refugium (we took all excess the nutrients out), the nuisance algae is gone!
