Angry branching hammer help!!!

Hi everyone,
I had a piece of branching hammer coral, and it's been growing fine for that last 6 months, until recently I noticed it has large bubble right in the middle of the head. The bubble is brownish color just like the skin/tissue of the tentacles, and it's transparent - I actually can see thru the bubble into the skeleton underneath. I don't know how else to describe it. I will try to borrow a digital camera and post some pics so you can see exactly what I mean if you can't visualize my problem. If anyone has ideas what this is and how to fix this please help. Thanks everybody.
Demifelix.

The condition is fairly common in LPS corals. There is nothing to worry about. It can come and go over time.

Regards,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I was worry that the bubble may burst and the entire head will die. Do you know why it's doing that?

No one knows why they do it. Some of the guesses are reproduction tactic, or tumor. My Favia coral has done it on and off for the last 9 years or so.

Regards,
Kevin

Good news, one of the bubbles has reduced in size this morning. Hopefully the other will do the same thing.
