Cycling
I have a 12 gal nano cube deluxe. It has 12 pound of live rock that was in an aquarium for 2 years. 6 gallons of the water was also from that same aqurium and the rest was new. And the live sand is new. It has been cycling for three weeks with this bacteria that I bought form my pet shop. My ammonia-0 nitrite-0 and nitrate-5. Can I add a bubble coral or in that case any LPS coral? Thanks.

Hi smazzuca_4,
It sounds to me that your tank would be cycled since you added established rock and even water. I'd say go for it! If you have another coral that may be more hardy that you plan to add it wouldn't be a bad idea to add it first, otherwise I think your fine. ![]() |
