Here yesterday...gone today

My mom saw these eggs in a secluded spot yesterday and snapped a pic. Today they are gone and I'm not seeing anything but perhaps if anything hatched they are in hiding. I have no clue what snail put em there but hopefully some of my cleanup crew are able to replenish their numbers from time to time.

My snails lay eggs on the glass all the time but nothing comes of it?!

Chuck,

This may be eggs deposited by either Ceriths or Nassarius snails.I had both snails laying the same patterns of egg clusters, however, no new snails ever been observed by me. The only snails that I know of that reproduce well in tanks that employ skimmers and other power filtration methods are the small trochids from IPSF that Dr.Shimek identified as Collonista. And, Stomatellas, of course.

Those are Cerith egg strands and the water current just blew them away. You won't get anything out of them anyway because they have a pelagic larval stage. You need something with direct reproduction, such as Stomatella varia or the little guys that IPSF incorrectly calls Strombus maculatus, as noted by zhenya above. Or, if you're really unlucky, you could end up with some of the miserable little Trochids that I have that I can't get rid of. Their adult size is about 5 mm and they reproduce like crazy. They are strictly nocturnal algal grazers. The problem with them is that their numbers get out of hand (several hundred at a time) and they displace other snails in your system by removing available food sources.
