New pics

I have added some some post red bug treatment pics to my gallery, if anybody wants to see. I treated for bugs the first part of July, and the tank took quite a hit with all the crabs and stuff that didn't make it thru the treatment. That and there was a "minor" bleaching incident , that about caused me to pull a bunch of un-needed hair out . Turns out that I got into a bad batch of Oceanic. I am now back to IO, and life is turning to the good side again. If anyone has the idea that patience is not a good thing, let me tell you what could have happened if I didn't take my time thru this. I did lose my huge Orange cap,and just about lost the purple rim cap. My wife would have ended my life if that would have gone down . Hope you enjoy!!

Very nice Charlie,
The main thing I see wrong in your pictures is that you have way too many clams! You need to remove most of them right away and bring them to my house for safe keeping

Yeah, that's a pyramid. I had 2 of them, but obviously, 1 did not make it. They are a beautiful, active fish.

Thanx

You are probably thinking about the hydno on the right hand side.

Nice work, Charlie.

I know that you treated twice for the red bugs( you told me ),how long since the second treatment and are they gone completely? It;s been about a week since my second treatment with much larger dose this time and I haven't seen one since.

Gene, it's been since July 10th when I last treated. As far as I know, and I've been looking, I don't have any bugs. I had that bad bunch of salt that caused a setback and a couple of losses, but that's about it.
I really think the bugs were gone after the first treatment, but I hadn't gotten enuf crabs :slap: :slap: :slap:

Thanks,Charlie.

You know, I thought all of mine were dead too after the initial treatment but i was definately wrong. I personally can't see them unless I look through a macro lens and than blow up that image on my computer so I'll be taking a whole mess of the macro shots soon to see if I got them all.
Those little acro crabs are all gone from my tank too... Oh, well....

Hey Charlie, how long have you had that Bicolor? any problems with it nipping at anything? I'm thinking of getting a dwarf angel and that one is my favorite.
your tank looks great by the way.

The bicolor has been in there since the beginning, and he's been a model citizen. I consider myself one of the lucky ones!! I've actually had him for close to 6 years!!
