What is this worm thing??

Here is a pic of some kind of worm that has emerged from a piece of my LR. I'd be happy if someone could ID it for me. Don't mind the green algae, I'm working on ridding the tank of that as we speak. Thanks

It's probably a peanut worm -- harmless.
