Bicolor angelfish

Hello everyone!

We have been wanting to buy a bicolor angelfish. Our lfs just got a couple nice looking fish in. Are they reef safe for an SPS tank? Thanks in advance for any info.

I have a bicolor angel in my tank and it hasn't bothered with any of the corals (but I guess every fish has their own different likes)

In general it is a shy fish and is quite hard to get it to feed (it took mine a week to recognize frozen food and even more to be confident enough to come up for algae).

They like lots of places to hide, mine hasn't been aggressive, in fact I think its the most docile.

Hope that helps.

I have one and it does bother my corals. It took just a day for mine to eat. It comes out to great me every time I come to the front of the tank. Nice passive fish.

Angry

I guess fish are different like people . We bought the bicolor angel 2 days ago and it already has eat all the polyps on my staghorn, montipora, and acroporas!!!

We have wanted to get rid of our mean hawk fish for a while now. I guess we will tear the tank apart in the morning and get rid of both!

Will our sps corals die because of this?
