    Mia's SPS Reef

    Howdy Reefland Reefers
Firstly id like to say our Hearts here in OZ go out to all the People that are having a trying time in New Orleans at the moment and i can only pray that those affected regain some Normality to there lives Soon .
Pics are nothing Special but just really enjoy sharing them with MY first real Online Home within the Reefscene . I spend a lot more time now in my own Backyard within our own Marine Aquarium Society's of Australia.
Funny to think when i first came here that i didnt even know the difference between a Squamosa and a Maxima but George soon sorted that out for me

    Acro bits

Heres a pearler but she seems ohh so sensitive to any sort of change in my system and in comparison to all my other Acros i feel that she would rate the hardest to maintain .Its only really early days at about a month so ime hoping she will come back to her former glory. Its strange in my opinion because polyp extension is good and there is no indication of STN but seems to have bleeched out a bit after about a month of apparent good colour.

Please Forgive me for the Turtle Grass in the background ive been meaning to Yank it out for about a Year.

    VERY NICE!

I miss the sand though..... It seems to help set off the corals...... Is that your filtration? If not I assume you have a sandbed and fuge seperate from the display tank....

    Zoos

Heres a few Zoo Pics .Ime seeing a lot of zoos lately that i have never been seen before here on the West Coast Mainly because my main collector is using a hooker to go to places hes never really collected before so its a exciting time.
Funny thing is most of these zoos are coming from 8 metres plus.

Vary nice work. I am envious of the extra room. Everything fo my 375 will be crammed under the tank which limits the size of my sump/fuge. Bummer!

Are those Pentair Aquatics filters and what are you running in them? Also how do they work for you?

    Hi Greg

    Greg
I have no idea whats in those Filters but i presume its carbon
Anyway ime going to go and see Clint in the next few Days and ill ask him to Cough up more information in regard to answering your questions.

The other Tank is mine ;; Interesting point about the Sandbed ive had people comment before that it looks a little sterile so i started putting Zoa Frags in there just to try and make it look a little natural .
