Colt Coral not attaching to rock.

I got a colt coral about a month ago but it has yet to attach to a rock. I was told to stick a toothpivk through it and it would attatch in a week or so. So far it's bees almost a month. Is it normal for colts to take this long to attach?

No, actually they should attach to the rock pretty quickly. How do you have it against the rock? Typically just laying the base of the frag against the rock will do the trick.

Yeah the base it laying on the rock.

You might try to pinch the base of the coral in between two small rocks kind of tight, might have better luck like this.
