I'm new here and I didn't even know that there was another online Magazine other than Reefkeeping and AA. I've only seen the latest version but I have to tell you I'm impressed and intend to read previous issues.
I think that every reefkeeper should read this issue from cover to cover. I've modded at four forums and I really try to help people get to the bottom of their algae issues. I ask about feeding habits, bioload, how much skimmate they have, what is the TDS of their water, etc., etc., etc. It usually would take me numerous posts for me to have an accurate enough mental picture to start diagnosing their issue. However, it seems that once I have an idea of what's going on, someone else swings into the thread and says, "Buy 50 xyz crabs and 20 abc snails....it solved my problem". Then the next post is, "I will buy them tomorrow". AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!
Your articles show the disadvantages of solving algae issues with bubblegum and duct tape. Great job!!!
