As I remember Indo-Pacific Sea Farm shipped it just wet in a plastic bag. I would just use alittle water maybe a tablespoon full.

You can't go wrong making sure it is completely submersed in water.

Hi swimmer

I have sent calerpa to about 5-6 different ppl and the way that I ship it is I use Ziploc baggies (i use the baggies that are 1/2 the size of the sandwich baggies) and I put in about 1/2 cup of my tank water and then the calerpa and I zip the bag up with a little air (not much) then I put that into another bag. The post office has very small boxes for free and I use them they are always $3.50 to ship ANYWHERE in the U.S. as long as you are shipping from the U.S. (it generally takes 1-3 days for them to receive it) and I put a handfull of popcorn styrofoam in the box or I use newspaper for padding around the baggie. HTH

We get it at the store shipped in just alittle water, like no water would drain out if you tip it upside down. So, I would just add a little bit. HTH
