Question Maxima Clam - Lighting??

I have a 65 gallon tank that I plan to make it reef. My current lighting systems is composed of (1) 36"-96watt 67k, (1) 36"-96watt actinic, (2) 48"-55watt 67k and one 48" actinic flourescent bulb. With this mentioned lighting, is it possible to keep a Maxima Clam??

Probably not, Maximas' need the most light of all the clams. MH is the best choice for maxs'. There is a clam FAQ page on my site that should help with a decision on what clams you can keep with the lighting you currently have!!

you could go with a Deresa clam with that light and have no problem. The prvious post is correct, it is the most light loving it may servive in that light but may not be real happy. MH is suggested in most cases. I have yet to keep the max. clam for the same reason scared to try and lose.
