Hey Gary!
You can keep some LPS corals near the top of the tank and plenty of softies throughout the tank. Just stay clear of SPS and clams and you should be set for most other corals.![]()
Ok, I finally got my new light.
It has 2 96 watt white compacts (10,000's), 2 96 watt blues and 6 lunar LED's.
My tank is 30" deep. What are my limits on livestock?

I can live with that. I have a couple of halides I may incorporate in later. But it's nice to know that I can handle most stuff for now. Thanks.
What about anenomies?
I would only keep an anemone under halides. It just makes sense to me. Here is an article by Dr. Ron in Reef Hobbyist Online:
Be A Host To Your Anemone
That was an interesting article. Thanks. According to that article, the bulb tipped doesn't require intense light as long as it has a proper substrate and diet. Maybe once I get comfortable maintaing proper water parameters, I'll give one a shot.
Glad it was helpful! zhenya is our resident Anemone man if you have any additional questions concerning them.![]()
