Question Do Emerald Crabs molt?

I have 3 emerald crabs in my tank, last week I removed what I thought to be a dead emerald. Then last night, I saw all 3 crabs cruising around the tank. Did it molt, did I just remove an old exoskeleton? Weird

Yes, all crustaceans molt. Crabs, shrimp, lobsters, crawfish, anything with an exoskeleton.
