Why can't my corals survive???

HI everyone. I would like to ask why can't corals live in my tanks....(this includes those easy-to-keep corals like polyps and mushrooms...)

My tank has been set up for about 4 months with reef-safe fishes in it. The water parameter is all well and i have the following equipments: Venturi Driven Protein Skimmer, a normal filter, and two 21watts light bulb.(one blue one white) I know that the lighting unit which i have now is not sufficient for most corals but i think it should be enough for polys and mushrooms right? So why am i facing this problem of corals dying in my tank?

Thanks.

It would be helpful to help diagnose your problem with some additional information. Please post all your water parameters including temp, SG, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, etc. Also please list your acclimation procedures.

The distance the corals are from the bulbs is also a critical parameter. You can keep low light corals under normal output bulbs but they need to be 3-6" away from the bulbs without glass between the bulbs and the corals to prosper.
