    A 550 Begins To Mature

I took these pictures this morning and I thought some of you might enjoy them. IMO the tank is starting to mature and form a reeflike structure.

    Regards,
    Kevin

Just tell your wife that having a tank teaches you all sorts of new DIY skills...which will save lots of money around the house...so you can buy more stuff for your tank...so you can learn more skills...

I filled it with water June 13th, 2001. I have pictures from each birthday party

Thank you for the kind remarks. I wish you could all visit and take a few frags home as souvenirs

You know of course that your tank and me have just about the same birthday!!! So next year........................ Maybe we could arrange something for the Squammy that I "BORROWED", those were your words...

The tank looks great Kev, for those of us that have been lucky enuf to see this monster in person, believe me, pics don't do it justice. It is almost a solid chunk of coral from one side to the other. What we can't see is that just about the whole reef is pretty much encrusted together, that is what is awesome!!!

Ooops, I see where you heading, Kevin... Break out those wonderful fraging tools that you have. Of course, it is one of the most beautiful tanks out there, and I agree with you, it is maturing and looking more and more like the piece of the reef. Great job!
    Kind regards,

    Gene.
