New random PICs of my tank..

Decided to post a few pics of the tank now at a mature(?) 18 months old. I am slowly getting more corals in the tank. Here are a few shots of some of the ones I have. Plus a cool pic of the Cucumber. Hope you like.

Thanks. If you look right in the middle of the Stylo, you can see a little Acro crab hanging out. He's cool, everytime something lands on the Stylo, he runs out and removes it.

Great S. pistillata! IMO it's one of the brightest colored and best looking corals you can own.

Regards,
Kevin

That is cool! I see him there, I noticed the dark spot, but didn't even think about a crab living there.

I actually do not know what the Orange coral is. I was hoping someone here knew. The LFS sold it to me as a fire coral, which would suggest that maybe it was a Millepora Sp., but it doesn't look like any reference Millepora pictures I could find.

Yes it is a fire coral (Millepora sp.). Be careful when handling it as it can produce painful welts when touched. It looks like a Pacific variety. There is a Caribbean type that grows like a weed and can dominate your tank in a couple of years.

Kevin

My skin is like leather. I've handled it several times and have not been affected. I have also handled several other stinging invertebreas without problems. I used to have pet scorpions and would get stung by them all the time, I guess I just stopped noticing the stings.
