Well I will get the easy one. Ricordia Yuma, those are common mushrooms. They are a low light colony polyp ANEMONE actually. They are very easy to care for, and spread wildly if you let them. The tubes are a bit tougher as the picture is out of focus, can you try and get a better picture of those?

Well the second picture is better, but I just don't know what that is. Looks like a polyp of some sort, stretching to get close to the light. There are literally thousands of polyps that can come in on rocks from the ocean. I'll bet someone here will have a better guess then me.

Another Question. I have noticed that 2 of the RY is white in color the one under the rock is totally white and the one on top is half white. What happened to them? and am I going to lose them?

Sounds like they may be bleaching.
(loosing their zooxanthallae algea) If your lighting is sufficient they may survive and color back up. You could also try to see if they will accept small chunks of food that may help them recover some color too.

One of my yuma's bleached pretty severely about a week after I brought it home... then I moved it to get a little more light and it took about 4-5 weeks to get it's color back to what it was, but it did ok. It's fat and sassy now.

Thanks...But what kind of chunk of food should i give it? I have just got the Yuma and i did not noticed this in the store ( the one on top that is) but the one on the bottom was shirveled up and did not know what it was until it opened up. It was an Yuma all white. I heard that they do not like strong light should i really move it to more light?

I feed my ricordeas some small pieces of krill maybe once every week or two.
As for the light just make sure that they are getting some light. If the one under the rock is not getting any light you should move it so that it is at least getting some.

I don't specifically feed mine at all... I do at DT's live plankton to the tank a couple of times a week and also add some sort of zoo plankton (usually freeze dried) or cyclop-eeze once or twice a week also. I think it was the light (or lack thereof) that caused mine to bleach and to bring it back.

Never add Iodine unless you test for it first! Iodine is toxic, and it is almost ALWAYS higher in the home aquaria then it is in the ocean, WITHOUT Adding any!

I added Kent Iodine supplement according to the directions for several months... I finally got nervous and got a test kit. My idodine was undetectable (the test even had a standard iodine solution to compare it with). I add iodine regularly now (and I do test for it).
