Anemone I thinK

I have something that just started to grow out of my live rock. The rock in the tank is about 1 1/2 year old. So this guy has been growing for sometime now. It only comes out of it's hole that it stays in only at night. Is is an anemone? If it is what kind is it? When I say it comes out of it's hole. I mean reaches out when lights are on it will retract back into the hole.

Just so you know the green algea is a problem that will go away when I move. I did not want to purchase snails or do anything more to the tank until I get the new tank up and running. That is my plan not sure if it is a good one or not but suggestions are welcome.;)

Looks like some type of anemone but which one is very hard to tell without clear, in focus image. One thing I can tell you that it is not Aiptasia or majano anemones. Both oh those species are photosynthetic.
