Feeding tip

Every day I learn something new. I know most of you have this figured out by now but today I had a duh moment. In my 75g I feed three kinds of seaweed to my tang but I never actually got to watch him eat it. He's very shy and stays in the rockwork when I'm around. This morning I put the sea veggies (green today) inbetween my magnets like I normally do. The difference today is that I usually I put it up sort of high in the tank so I can watch it better but this morning I put it low near the sand and some rockwork. The tang instantly came to shred it everywhere with me standing right there still holding onto the cleaning magnet. I thought to myself wow what a common sense thing. If I was the tang I wouldn't wanna overexpose myself...but I would feel much more comfortable being around rocks for a quicker retreat or something. Anyway just thought some of you might benefit from this information and might be able to enjoy watching some of the more shy fish feed.

I'm the only one my Tang trusts. He's become my little buddy. Whenever anybody else is in the room he peeks from behind rocks. When I'm the only one, he swims right up to the glass to where I'm standing. Pretty cool.

It's amazing how quick tangs warm up to you when you introduce food, I'm babysitting a yellow tang right now that was severely neglected, within 48 hrs. he was my buddy. BTW those sea veggies are great aint they my tangs go crazy for 'em.
