both tanks run off the same sump in the basement.



frag tank full of xenia, and a few acro's

just a little over a year. they were mostly LPS when we first set them up. in the last 6 or 8 months i changed the lighting on the 180 and started adding some SPS. growth has been ok but they still look a little empty to me. i dont think im going to add many more new SPS, just waiting for what we have to grow in a little more and then just take frag's from them and fill in

Heck no, I think it's the perfect sump for anyone that has room for it. Can't go wrong with the extra water volume and space for frags!

I agree that is GREAT! I don't think that I have ever seen so much Xenia in one spot! And if you have the room/budget WHY NOT?

Now that's how a basement should look!
Great job! I'd say you're hooked
The time will pass quickly until your SPS are quite large I assure you. And IMO it is better to have a few large colonies than to try to keep pruning small ones.
