lost fish

I just returned from a 5 day vacation to find a dead powder blue tang and flame angel. I had my daughter feed them in my absence. All coral and all other fish are fine. Water is as i left it all ok. Anyone have any idea at all what could have happened. They did not show any signs before i left.

That is what is strange. When io left they were eating fine, no infection at all. Nothing seemed wrong.like i said all was ok. The only problem was that the ph dropped a little to 7.4 I have corrected this.

7.4 is extremely low in a reef. How long was it this low?

That may have been what did it? The fish you mention are both pretty delicate.
