About LinkBacksNinong do you know if there is a predatory version of stomatella, or if there are any copycats? I have a black and white striped one, and I had an injured and recovering calaustrea. I noticed him on top of it and the calaustrea being gone (the flesh part) the next day. Wondering if I am being paranoid.

The genus Stomatella is herbivorous and harmless. Maybe you have something else?

Looks just like a stomatella, accept it has a black shell with 3 or 4 white lightning shaped stripes.
