I don't know about these particular shrimp, but I can say that "nutritional value" is a vague term. Also, different species have differing nutritional needs. In general and for most omnivorous creatures, there is no one specific ideal food. Since these shrimp are ocean-dwelling crustaceans, they should be at the very least a good source of protein "as part of a balanced diet."
Finding nutritional analyses on fish food is difficult, too. Some brands of prepared foods publish minimal info such as % protein, % fat, % water, etc. but getting even basic numbers like this on live food is nearly impossible.

They look like Ghost shrimp to me. If you do purchase I would keep them in a different tank and feed as needed. I dont know as these shrimp would live in the salenity that most of our tanks are at. These are mostly fed to FW cichlids and larger species of fish.
Just a guess however on the salenity statement Jeff

i get them for 10 for a dollar, i got like 30 of them and in like 3 days i can only count like 5 shrimp., but i think they hide well too. my puffer likes to eat them as well as my copper band fish.
i think they appreciate the live food in the main tank im going to buy about 40 of these guys today and acclimate them to saltwater first, then throw them in there. the bad thing is theyre able to jump out of a container or main tank very easily and commit suicide ![]() |

I bought 100 of these critters several months ago and put them in my quarantine tank hoping to raise and breed them, of course they were all gobbled up within a week as there were four fish in my quarantine that came from the same shipment
. If you have a seperate tank to breed them, they are definetly worht it. |
