ID, please
Just saw something really freaky stretching out of one of our rocks. It looks like an elephant's snout reaching for food. It's opaque, very tiny, and when it finds food on the rock, it sucks it up. We can't see the base of it -- all we see is the "snout." Any ideas?

My guess would be that it's a Sipunculan(peanut)worm. Harmless at worst and probably beneficial critter of the clean up guild. They feed on the detritus on the sand and rocks.
