Unusual Growth

Hello, I need help identifying two things that are blooming in my tank. The first is a white sponge-like growth on my LRs. I am not sure what it is, but it is starting to grow all over my LRs. Secondly, there are brownish/grayish/greenish stuff growing on my fake corals and LRs. I have pics of both of these things. Please let me know what they are and if they are bad. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks and hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and an even safer New Years!

The first picture looks like a sponge. I can't tell what the other picture shows. None of it should be harmful.

Agreed. Whatever the spots are in the second picture, it doesn't appear to be any nuisance algae so you should be fine.

I agreed too... first thing looks like sponge, second looks like some kind of annoying, but harmless algae.

These things tend to come and go... especially in new tanks. Don't stress over either of them too much.
