Question 3 questions in one thread :)

Hello, I have 3 questions if you all don't mind me asking

1) I have white sponges growing out of my LRs all of a sudden. I learned from here that they are thankfully, harmless. Sponges growing is a good sign or bad? I know coraline algae (sp?) is a good sign, are sponges also a good sign?
2) My maroon clown is awesome and doing well. Had him/her for over 4 months. Now, the clown is starting to dig up the sand bed. I am afraid eventually he/she will cause my LR to collapse, as it is really digging up at the base of my LR. Anyone know why all of a sudden the clown has the desire to dig?
and
3) Are peppermint shrimp relatively hardy? I have one large aiptasia and I lerned that peppermint shrimps are good aiptasia predators. Also, would a shrimp be safe in a 70 gallon tank with 4 damsels, a yellow tang and a maroon clown? (OK that was 3.5 questions)

They just are. They're neither good nor bad. They're just part of biodiversity in a reef aquarium.

It's a natural behavior.
