Can I cut this xenia ?
It is attached to 2 rocks, can I just cut it between the 2 rocks to split it ?
I have never split xenia before.

Take you a sharp (read: new) razor blade and slice as cleanly as possible. Your well on your way to a tank full of Xenia.

First let me preface my upcoming comment, Scott's way is the best and least risky.
Now for the lazy man's way (ie: me) Take a pair of scissors and cut it! Enjoy.

You can just seperate them by just pulling the 2 pieces apart real fast, and then get some duct tape and gauze and patch em up a little bit....maybe put some ointment on em and put them back in the tank...hehe...Im just kidding
I agree with above statements....most all types of xenia if they are fairing well in your tank you can slice em up and they heal very quickly providing they have good current and light ![]()

Thanks Guys,
Yeah , I was thinking about using the duct tape thing or maybe some bath tub caulking to seal the 2 together but I think it would be better to just give it an aspirin ![]() I got to split !!!!! See Ya.
