Type of macro, or where to get it, or both? As far as types, Caulerpa species and Chaetomorpha are commonly used in refugiums. You can probably find them locally, especially if you know someone with a refugium.. the stuff grows like weeds.

If not, there are plenty of online places that sell it. Check our sponsors.

Hmm... sounds like it may be a feather caulerpa....

There's more stuff than you wanted to know about caulerpa on this page and the links on it.

Caulerpa is generally a good macro for a refugium.

The only problem with caulerpa is that it will go sexual on you, and release some bad stuff into your tank. Cheato is the way to go!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, caulerpa won't go sexual under 24/7 lighting.

You may have a point there, at least that's what the ecosystem method has stated.

I pretty much had no choice but to go with caulerpa. I would rather use chaeto, but with my 10lb's of @#$% in a 5lb bag set up, I have to use caulerpa.
