Check out the Hitchhiker FAQ: http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/index.html

They have pics of Aip. and lots of other Hitchhikers you might find.

I got 3 peppermint shrimp in my 90g and they took care of Aiptasia in about 2 days and I haven't seen it since.

HTH

Arrow aiptasia?

2 days after i got the lights up and running, i noticed a brown polyp looking thing sprout up out of no where! i've noticed many little things, and am worried if any of them are aiptasia? what does aiptasia look like, and is there anything that eats it?

I created a web page that talks about the many eradication methods used on aptasia. It lists some of the pros and cons, as well as what to watch for with certain methods.

Take a look see here.

i have come to the conclusion, thanks to your help, that one of the inverts is a sessile snail, and the others are sea squirts... There was one invert i couldnt find an ID of it looks like the roots of some fresh water plants, that stick out the side of the plant, and is small. i thought maybe it was the roots of some caulerpa growing?!?!

will the peppermints only eat the small aptasia's? i have some humungous ones will they eat them too? i am getting a sore arm from reaching into the tank injecting these things.....this would help if they'd eat 'em up.
