Coral injury
I was moving some rock around in my tank today, and a piece fell and landed on my green brain coral.
It's been about 2 hours since the incident. The rock just landed on the edge of the coral. I have noticed that tissue around the injury looks "deflated", there is a small tear in the tissue, and there is mucous release around the injury. It only involves a small section (maybe 5-10%) of the total surface area of the coral. Will this injury kill the coral? Is there anything I can do to minimize permanent damage? Any other thoughts?

I've had accidents like this a few times times....... I've never treated anything and my pieces have always recovered. It actually happened to a Platygyra of mine one time. I'm pretty sure it's similar to what might happen in nature and as long as your system is stable and nothing bothers it, it should be ok.
