Smile Lights on or off during cycle?

I'm starting a new nano tank and so far I've got LS and LR(cured) in place. I've heard to keep the lights off from one person, and lights on from another. The rock I have has some very nice color's to it and I want to keep it that way so I'm thinking lights on, correct? Will my tank cycle with the LR only, or do I need to add a damsel or two? Thanks for any advice you all can give me!!

I would go ahead and leave them on, just maybe not for the full time period. Did I miss something , or did you say what lites you had?
Leave the fish out, let it cycle with just the rock and sand, you will be a happier camper

    Smile

I've got a 12g nanocube dx with 24 watt 50/50 lamps. Seems to put out pretty good light. Thanks for the advice!!
