Ph of some common water brands

I've been on some field trips lately collecting local Caudates for my Ecology class. Since I have somewhat of an aquarium background my professor gave me the task of setting up a few aquariums so that other biology/ecology majors can check out a few native species up close....anyway I went off course. Researching their care I came across this chart of common bottled water brands and their Ph. If any of you don't make your own water this might help you.
Spring water brand
Approximate pH
Deer Park 6.8
Poland Springs 6.8
Arrowhead 7.0
Dannon 8.4
Sams Choice (Walmart) <6
Kroger Brand <6

Samper,
I was just curious to see if you have tested these waters for other trace elements. I was told a lot of name brand water contains elements that are no good for reef type aquariums, including metals.

If I need to buy water, I get distilled water, not spring water.... they add all sorts of mineral stuff to "spring water". And of course, natural spring water can not only have large mineral contents, but disolved carbon dioxide also (lowering the pH).

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...
