Exclamation BEST thing I ever bought for tank

God knows i've spent enough money on my reef. The other day i got real sick of scrubing algae and decided to go ahead and buy something else.... again.... I got one of those algae magnets. Well to my suprize, the little magnet did an amazing job on my acryllic 12G flat back hex!!! It was sooo easy too, plus i dont have to stick my hands in there. It rounds the corners and everything... Anyway I just thought I'd share because I couldnt reccomend any product i've ever purchased more than this one.

    Hi Todd!

Would this happen to be a small blue magnet with a red scraper?

I agree. I recently bit the bullet and bought a magnavore magnet for my 150 acrylic tank...and it is awsome. I would not part with it now!

Yep, magnets make life soooo easy. Although I would have to say the best thing I bought for my tanks? Top-off switches.

A question for the folks using magnets on acrylic. How do you do it???? Do you put a piece of acrylic safe pad between them? I recently purchased one of the blue magnets with the red scraper. It works great but I put some acrylic pad between it. Even thouogh it says its safe for acrylic. Any thoughts?

May I just suggest 1 thing, If you have multiple tanks Don't move the magnet from tank to tank. If you have a problem with one tank you can transfer it to the other tank.. Just a thought.
