I dont know much but i was thinking jelly fish too. But then again they kinda look like some sort of egg with something inside. I saw giant versions of that stuff with shark eggs...didnt look like that of course, but you could see inside of it. Wait those look like tenticals in the second picture.

By the way, that is some nice looking rock you got goin on there. I wish mine looked like that. Your green is like that happy go lucky lepricon green. My green is like poop green

It appears to be a tunicate. They are harmless filter feeders.

It does look like there is something growing inside of it... its really wierd..

Everyone once in awhile it pulses, kinda like sucking water in and then blowing it out.

I looked online for pictures of tunicates, but have not found anything that resembles it yet.. lol

    will keep looking..

    Thanks,

    JW

Hmmm... now that the tank is full, I could convert the pool to saltwater...

The stuff inside it is its internal organs. Your search for a picture that matches it is pretty much futile. Unless you know what species this is you probably won't be able to find a picture of it since it certainly isn't one of the most photogenic species. Since tunicates are extremely diverse it's unlikely you will find one that's even a close match.

Sounds good... I will leave it alone and let it ride.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I was going to suggest a type of sponge possibly, but when I read that it pulses, thats a sure bet it is a sea squirt.
